Louise Deakin: Education, Engagement and Outdoors Officer

Louise works on a variety of both formal and informal education projects and assists in raising awareness of this unique gem so that it can be preserved and enjoyed. Louise really enjoys engaging people to participate in new experiences, benefiting themselves and the community. Having worked in a variety of Learning, Engagement, and Outreach roles, she utilises these skills to develop the educational offer for the benefit of Moor Pool and its future generations.

Barbara Nomikos: Hall & Assets Manager

Barbara has a background in museums and heritage, from Museum of the Jewellery Quarter, Aston Hall and the National Trust, and has volunteered for the Birmingham Back-to-Backs, and continues to volunteer for Birmingham Conservation Trust and Stirchley Baths. She has a passion and great understanding of managing historic listed buildings and their value to the communities around them. She uses this expertise to work with the community and volunteers to maintain Nettlefold’s vision for Moor Pool as well as increasing public awareness of the estate’s historic importance and maximising its use for the benefit of local and wider community.
